CHADD Charity Golf Classic
Supports Mission, Creates Public Awarenes About AD/HD

A great day of golf and a noteworthy auction will highlight the Eighth Annual CHADD Charity Golf Classic on Monday, May 12, 2008 at the Norbeck Country Club in Rockville, MD.  The event is being presented by CHADD, the nation’s leading nonprofit organization serving people affected by Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.  Proceeds will benefit the programs and services of CHADD and its local participating chapters.

Creating more public awareness about AD/HD, which affects millions of children and adults, remains a primary goal along with raising funds for CHADD.

The tournament is expected to attract a field of more than 100 golfers to this Captain’s Choice (scramble) event.

Among  the celebrities will  be master of ceremonies  Rick “Doc” Walker, a  former tight end with the NFL Washington Redskins and now a popular sports television commentator and SportsTalk980 radio host.


The schedule:
• Registration and check in begin at 10:00 a.m.
• Buffet lunch opens at 11:00 a.m.
• Shotgun tee off time is 12:15 p.m. 
• Silent auction displays and exhibits set up in the ballroom throughout the day. 
• Reception opens at 5:30 p.m. followed by banquet with awards and prizes.  The event will be at Norbeck Country Club, 17200 Cashell Road, Rockville, MD, telephone (301) 774-7700.
