Parent to Parent: Family Training on ADHD was developed by Linda Smith, Beth Kaplanek, and Mary Durheim over a period of more than two years. Parent to Parent provides educational information and support for individuals and families dealing with ADHD and learning to navigate the challenges of ADHD across the lifespan. Courses are offered in communities across the country. The curriculum was developed by parents who have lived the experience, but who also have had access to the best researchers and practitioners in the country. The entire course takes about 14 hours of time and is usually offered as a seven-week class, meeting for two hours once a week.
