Mitchell, John Ph.D.

Dr. Mitchell is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University School of Medicine and the Duke ADHD Program. His research on ADHD and substance use comorbidity, emotional functioning in ADHD, and treatment development for individuals with ADHD has been funded by grants from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders. Dr. Mitchell works extensively with adults diagnosed with ADHD, including providing assessment and treatment services, trainee supervision, and clinical training to clinicians in the community.
