Shari Gent, M.S., Education Specialist, serves with the Diagnostic Center, Northern California, California Department of Education. Shari conducts trainings in behavioral and instructional strategies for students with ADHD in 351 school districts throughout Northern California. On a multidisciplinary team, she provides psycho-educational assessments for a variety of students. Shari has appeared on National Public Radio with experts in the field of attention deficit disorder. She serves on the editorial advisory board of Attention Magazine and was named 2014 CHADD Educator of the Year. Shari parents a student with ADHD, is a CHADD chapter coordinator, and a Parent to Parent teacher.
