A Forum for DC-Area Parents of African-American Children with
AD/HD
On Saturday, July 19, CHADD will host a free community
forum in Bowie, Maryland, featuring leading experts who will address the
diagnosis and treatment of AD/HD, while providing helpful advocacy tips
and effective intervention strategies.
This forum will address the unique concerns of African-American
parents of children with inattentive, hyperactive, and combined types of
AD/HD. Register Now! Parents in the DC metropolitan area who want to
learn more should plan to attend.

Directions:
From the Capital Beltway (I-495), take Route 50 East, toward Annapolis.
Take Exit 11 (Collington Road). Stay to the left and make a left onto
Route 197 (Collington Road). Proceed to the fourth light and make a
right onto Route 450 (Annapolis Road). At the third traffic light, make
a right onto Stonybrook Drive.
From Route 301 North, cross through the light at Route 197; Route 301
becomes Route 3. Continue on Route 3 North. At the second traffic light,
make a left onto Route 450 (Annapolis Road). At the third traffic light,
make a left at the Mobil Station onto Stonybrook Drive.
