Thomas E. Brown, PhD
Dr. Thomas E. Brown is Associate Director of the Yale Clinic
for Attention and Related Disorders in the Dept. of Psychiatry at Yale
University School of Medicine. He is author of the forthcoming A New
Understanding of ADHD in Children & Adults: Executive Function
Impairments (Routledge, 2013) and the prize-winning Attention
Deficit Disorder: The Unfocused Mind in Children and Adults.(Yale
Press). He edited ADHD Comorbidities: Handbook for ADHD Complications in
Children and Adults (American Psychiatric Press) and is author of the
Brown ADD Scales (Pearson). He has presented symposia and workshops

Linda Classen, MEd
Linda Classen is retired from The Austin Independent School District
after 35 years of service as School Social Worker, Classroom Teacher,
Consultant in Attention Deficit and Related Disorders, and District Sec.
504 Coordinator. She is currently in private practice as a Licensed
Professional Counselor. She works with parents, physicians, school
professionals, lawyers, and mediators in behalf of children and adults
with various bio-behavioral disorders. She has studied extensively with
Dr. Russell Barkley and has presented hundreds of training sessions for
teachers, administrators, and parents across the United States over the
past twenty-five years. She is the mother of three grown sons, one of
whom has serious bio-behavioral disorders.
Monte Davenport, PhD
An ADHD adult & parent of an ADHD child, Dr. Davenport is a fellow
struggler who has helped children, teens, and families for 20 years.
After completing a master’s in clinical/counseling psychology and
a doctorate in developmental psychology, he was a Shelton School
counselor and he led the Child Development diagnostic team at Scottish
Rite Hospital. In 2010, Monte founded Life Solutions of Dallas-Fort
Worth to address the needs of individuals struggling with executive
functions.
Chris Dendy, MS
Chris Zeigler Dendy is a former educator, school psychologist,
children’s mental health professional with 40+ years experience in
these fields. Perhaps more importantly she is the mother of three grown
children with ADHD. Chris was inducted into CHADD’s Hall of Fame
for her outstanding contributions to the field in 2006. Dendy is the
author of four popular books and three videos. Her first book, Teenagers
with ADD & ADHD has sold over 100,000 copies, She was the lead
author for the CHADD Educator's Manual and is a co-founder of CHADD's
Teacher to Teacher Training Modules. Her latest book, Teaching Teens
with ADD, ADHD, & Executive Function Deficits, 2nd ed, was released
in 2011. Dendy along with her son Alex Zeigler filmed a popular DVD that
was released in 2011, Real Life ADHD!, a DVD survival guide for children
and teens. The DVD features advice from 30 teens and a 75
year-old physician all of whom have ADHD.
Gail Lindley, SLP-CCC
Michael McLane, PsyD
A licensed psychologist, Dr. McLane has assessed children, adolescents,
and young adults from a neuropsychological perspective in a various
settings, including (a) the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning
Disorders at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, (b) Children's
Medical Center Dallas, and (c) for the past 8 years, private practice.
Clients are referred due to concerns about learning, attention,
behavior, and/or social-emotional issues. He also enjoys conducting
psychotherapy and coordinating care with other professionals.
Jan Seltzer, MS
I am currently in private practice. I have two locations in
Dallas and in Lewisville, TX. I specialize in working with ADHD &
Co-existing conditions, Anger Management, and couples work. I obtained
my BA in Psychology and my MS in Counseling & Development at Texas
Women’s University/ I am in NCC (National Certified Counselor)
& an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). I am a Certified
Parent-to-Parent Family Trainer on ADHD as well
George Shake, JD
Mr. Shake practiced school psychology for fifteen years prior
to becoming a licensed attorney. He assessed children and helped parents
and schools to create educational programs for those children. Mr. Shake
developed specialties in ADHD and Autism and has participated in
hundreds upon hundreds of special education meetings, discipline
meetings, campus referral meetings, and conferences. Mr. Shake has been
providing training throughout the Dallas area for over ten years.
Robert Simmons, MBA
Robert works for Texas Health Resources and is the owner/operator of
Leading Life Coaching. Robert received his certification as a
Professional and Executive Coach through the University of Texas at
Dallas and is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Dulce Torres
Mark Wolraich, MD
Dr. Wolraich, the Shaun Walters Professor of Pediatrics and
Edith Kinney Gaylord Presidential Professor, directs the Section of
Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the University Oklahoma
Health Sciences. He has authored over 140 articles and chapters. His
research has been funded by most of the federal research agencies
including NIH and CDC. He is a past president of the Society for
Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and a member of the CHADD Hall
of Fame.
