CHADD Announces Youth Golf Initiative for Children with AD/HD at
Olney Golf Park
For a second year, 30 young people with AD/HD will be able to receive

Maryland, a CHADD program made possible through grants from
the United States Golf Association and the Toys"R"Us Children's
Fund, Inc.

AD/HD, and is willing to come to eight one-hour classes held every other
Saturday between July 12 and October 25, you are invited to apply. This

first-come, first-served basis, with preference to children who have not
had previous golf lessons.
This program will increase the personal and skill-based confidence level
of the young golfers, model appropriate social behaviors for children
with AD/HD in an informal setting, increase healthy social interaction
among peers, increase healthy social interaction between adults and the
child participants, and increase awareness of AD/HD and its management
through educational materials.
The deadline for applications is July 2, 2008.
